Family Caregiver Support Services

Caregiving, for a loved one may be the toughest job you will ever undertake. The struggle to provide quality care, make care decisions, and meet the needs of the parent or loved one are often constant and overwhelming.

That struggle will be lost if a caregiver becomes burnt-out and no longer able to provide the care for the family member.

By enlisting the services of Amy's Helping Hands we can help you find the balance between family, work and caregiving.

Many times, caring for a client involves family, so we play a role in providing a respite for the primary family caregiver, i.e., a wife caring for a husband or a daughter/son caring for their parents. Constant caregiving can bring considerable stress, because the caregiver's focus is centered on the one needing care. Very often we see that when we give relief with daily routines, allowing the family caregiver(s) more time for themselves, the relationship strengthens.
